the best way to experience gunston is to visit our waterfront 35-acre campus. while we have beautiful photos and videos that can give you a sense of what we are all about, it can't compare to the drive down our winding tree-lined entrance, standing on the footbridge that connects both sides of campus in the shade of large oak and black walnut trees, or pausing by the waterfront to feel the breeze coming off the corsica river.

we have restructured our open houses so that we can safely offer this opportunity by adding more sessions with limited attendance. additionally, we are also offering virtual open houses so that you can choose whatever you feel is right for you and your student.

session 2: 1 - 3 p.m.
session 3: 3 - 5 p.m. 

*space is limited to 8 families per session. masks are required in addition to adhering to social distancing guidelines. more information and details will be provided after registration. in the event of an in-person event being cancelled (for whatever reason), we will offer a virtual option, or reschedule.

Gunston’s open house features a tour of the facilities, a live Q&A with current students, and a special presentation by our Head of School. You’ll have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with students, faculty, and staff members about what makes Gunston so special. Another benefit of an in-person open house is you will see firsthand the comprehensive safety measures we have in place to ensure a safe in-person experience for the entire gunston community.

Personal Tours & Shadow Day Visits

shadow day visits can also be scheduled for potential gunston applicants. scheduled throughout the school year beginning in october, shadow visits (in-person or virtual) allow the student to experience gunston firsthand. please see the shadow day visit page for scheduling options.
